ApoB on TRT

What the number means, why it moves on a protocol, and what people usually do about it.

What it is

Apolipoprotein B counts the particles that build plaque, one ApoB per particle. It is the number lipid specialists trust most, and it can be high even when LDL looks fine.

How to read the lab range

Under 90 mg/dL is good, under 80 for people with other risk factors, above 130 is treated like high LDL.

How Magno reads it

Import the PDF or a photo of the report and Magno finds ApoB on it, keeps every test on one line, shows the change since the last one, and reads it against TRT-aware thresholds rather than the lab's generic range. The panel it belongs to, Lipids, gets a written verdict with the probable causes and what people usually do.

Questions people ask

LDL is fine but ApoB is high, which is right?

ApoB. It counts particles; LDL measures cholesterol mass. Many small particles carry less cholesterol each but do more damage.
