GGT on TRT
What the number means, why it moves on a protocol, and what people usually do about it.
What it is
GGT is the liver enzyme that does not live in muscle. That makes it the tie-breaker: a high ALT with a normal GGT is training, a high ALT with a rising GGT is the liver.

How to read the lab range
Labs quote up to about 50 to 70 U/L. Alcohol raises it before anything else does.
Why it moves on a protocol
- Alcohol, fatty liver, orals, some medications.
- Bile duct problems raise it with ALP.
What people usually do · not a recommendation
- Cut alcohol first; GGT falls within weeks.
- On orals, TUDCA and NAC as above.
How Magno reads it
Import the PDF or a photo of the report and Magno finds GGT on it, keeps every test on one line, shows the change since the last one, and reads it against TRT-aware thresholds rather than the lab's generic range. The panel it belongs to, Liver, gets a written verdict with the probable causes and what people usually do.

Questions people ask
Why does GGT matter if ALT is already checked?
ALT leaks from muscle. GGT does not, so it tells whether a high ALT is training or the liver.
